About
Golsana Ghaemi defended her Ph.D. in the lab in January 2026. She worked on understanding how applications use memory and on turning that knowledge into management decisions: the black-box profiler BBProf, combined CPU and memory regulation, and MemScope, a kernel-level framework for characterizing heterogeneous memory.
Code and hardware artifacts
-
Black-Box Profiler (BBProf) Software Maintainer
Kernel- and user-level profiler that characterizes how an unmodified application uses its memory pages. -
MemScope Software Maintainer
Kernel-level framework for characterizing heterogeneous memory under controlled contention. -
MemorEDF Software and hardware Co-author of the paper that introduced it
Demonstration of combined CPU and memory regulation on a Zynq UltraScale+ board.
